Embodied Leadership
A 3-day program for leaders navigating challenging times.
Never before have organisations faced this level of stress. It intensifies the complex dynamics between people, causing teams to get caught in patterns of tension and drama that hinder growth and results, and cost organisations significant time and money. As a leader, you are not immune to the challenges of these rapidly changing times.
You’re with your team, but not truly present. Your mind keeps racing. Your body feels tense. You notice yourself getting irritated and suddenly reacting more sharply than intended.
There’s drama or conflict in your team. People come to you to complain. You feel overwhelmed, postpone conversations, and hope things will resolve themselves.
By the end of the day, you feel exhausted. The day has flown by, yet your to-do list has only grown. You find yourself wondering how long this can go on.
As a leader in a middle position, you feel sandwiched. You try so hard to please your boss and your team, but it never seems enough, and you receive little appreciation.
But what if you and your team could shift from reactivity to radical responsibility, from drama to initiative, from tension to collaboration? As a leader, you embody what your team can mirror.
In a world that moves faster than we can keep up with, driven by metrics, technology, and constant change, we easily lose connection as human beings. This time calls for courageous leaders, people willing to return to the core of leadership and business: the human connection.
Dive with us into the foundations of embodied leadership. A long-term investment that brings clarity and calm, and benefits everyone involved. Courageous, necessary, and sustainable.

These 3 days are for
entrepeneurs, CEO's, leaders and HR management
-
you want to be able to deal better with stress and tension, so that you can stand more firmly in intense situations
-
you are willing to look at yourself and realize that inner change has a direct impact on the rest of the organization
-
you want to gain insight into the unconscious dynamics within your organization and better understand tensions in teams
-
you long for a greater impact from your communication as a leader.
-
you are looking for a language and approach that you can carry throughout the entire organizational culture
-
you understand that soft skills are not a luxury and are willing to invest in leadership that delivers results
“Soft skills are not a luxury; they are your smartest investment for growth and profit."
Invest in leadership
that truly pays off!
Organizations often invest in tools, processes, or technical training. What is often overlooked is that the greatest impact lies in people themselves. Leaders who are relationally skilled:
-
reduce turnover and absence levels: teams stay motivated and healthy
-
increase productivity and focus: less conflict, more results
-
speed up decision-making: conscious leaders respond faster and more effectively under pressure
-
improve profitability: higher-performing teams, increased revenue, and sustainable growth
-
strengthen culture and collaboration: employees take responsibility, and tension is addressed early
Investing in embodied leadership is a direct strategy for financial and organisational performance.

During this program:
-
you take a break from the ratrace
-
you get to know yourself better, and especially how you respond to stress
-
you gain insight into your team members, and what is truly driving their stress responses
-
you receive tools to regulate yourself and de-escalate stress within your team
-
you are given a framework to understand and influence the dynamics in your team
-
you practice clear communication from head-heart-gut, even in difficult conversations
-
you connect with other leaders, creating valuable opportunities to learn from each other
This ain't no ordinary training!
This is no traditional training.
We don’t rely solely on thinking, frameworks, or tools, but we work experientially, bringing in the body and the nervous system. When you learn to recognise what is happening internally, space is created to respond consciously instead of reacting automatically under stress.
This is no quick fix.
Anyone telling you that a single workshop or training will create lasting behavioral change is selling you bullshit. Embodied leadership is a skill that must be trained, maintained, and deepened. During this 3-day program, we ensure your foundation is solid, from which you can continue to grow and act.
Would you like more? After this 3-day program, there is the opportunity to further develop yourself as a leader in an in-depth leadership trajectory, or to offer the language and skills to your team.
This requires courage.
The courage to look at yourself. The courage to invest in fundamental soft skills that have a long-term impact on everyone within the organisation. The courage to stand in the circle as a leader, not beside your team. The courage to pause in a world that demands you to run.

Karen Segers & Vanessa De Smet
Prik Prik stands for shifting organisational cultures so they can grow in a way that is both healthy and sustainable.
As a training organisation, we guide you through this transformation via powerful leadership training and in-depth team facilitation, all grounded in our unique Right Relations methodology.
Prik Prik was founded by Karen Segers & Vanessa De Smet, who share the belief that the future of business does not need more tools, but a return to human connection.

“Leadership is not a role. It is a way of being, available to everyone, at every level.”
Vanessa De Smet
Vanessa remembers that even as a child, she believed people could relate to each other in a better way. At 25, she survived a serious car accident and had to learn to walk again, bringing her into connection with the body. She went on to build a private practice as a psychosomatic therapist, supporting people with relational challenges, burnout, and questions around personal leadership.
She has a deep love for human complexity, a strong understanding of stress and relational dynamics, and quickly identifies what needs to be named in order for change to happen. Her “no bullshit” approach is sharp yet loving, and with a dash of humor. People experience her as someone who makes them feel safe, seen, and heard.
After 15 years of nomadic living, she is now based in East Flanders, to slow down, mother her son, and live close to nature.

Karen Segers
Karen has over 25 years of experience as a trainer in the field. She is highly valued for her communication skills, her insight into team dynamics, and her conflict management abilities.
She is known for creating safe spaces in which difficult topics can be addressed, often leading to surprising results.
She brings connection to seemingly impossible places and has a sharp sense of a team’s potential. With her calm and playful approach, she brings balance to groups and ensures that everyone takes responsibility.
Karen comes from the Kempen region, is a mother of two teenagers, a traveler in heart and mind, and loves sleeping outdoors in the forest at night.
